Boulevard Club, Toronto Ontario - Dudley and Sara's Wedding

Dudley and I go WAY back to around 2003. As a prominent figure in the underground Toronto Hip Hop scene, he was easily one of my favourite MC's. I was delighted when he and Sara selected me as the photographer for their wedding which took place at The Boulevard Club in Toronto Ontario. These two have been together for over 10 years, and the love they have for each other is still going strong as you'll see in these images.

Enjoy,

Derrel

St. Lawrence Park, Mississauga ON - Chris and Coreteasha Engagement Photos

This shoot started off bad with the weather calling for rain, and me forgetting my flash trigger at home, so I wasn't able to do any creative lighting on this. But that didn't stop us from creating magic. Chris and Coreteasha brought their A-Game as we shot at St. Lawrence Park in Mississauga Ontario. Their outfits looked hot and matched each other well, and Coreteasha's yellow dress really popped and made these photos stand out. Chris is genuinely a happy and easy going guy. Those smiles you see in these photos are REAL haha, he's like this EVERYDAY. I can't wait to shoot the wedding, for now, enjoy these photos and leave some comments or feedback.

Thanks guys.

Derrel Ho-Shing Photography's Best of 2016

With 2016 wrapping up, I thought I’d go back and reflect on the past year. It was a fun and eventful year, shooting destination weddings in Jamaica and Cuba, but the biggest moment of the year was the birth of my son Omari back in June. I'll never forget that moment I first held him in my arms. Truly the highlight of the year. But wedding-wise, I was fortunate enough to work with some amazing couples, and some of the best vendors which helped make my photos as epic as they are. I hope your 2016 was good as mine, but I hope 2017 is even better.  Here are my top moments and highlights from 2016. Let me know which photo was your favourite.
